Ltd carries out all Class III Microbiological Safety Cabinet maintenance
in accordance with the requirements of BS EN12469 2000 or by company in house
test codes.
On a normal service visit or commissioning tests the following checks are made.
We recommend that each unit is checked once every 6 months for:

Operation of all services and system controls. |

Filter and seal integrity tests. |
|
3. |
Inspection of seals for corrosion and damage. |
|
4. |
Inspection of main body and duct for corrosion and damage. |
|
5. |
Check alarm and airflow gauge for correct operation and calibration. |
|
6. |
Check anti-blow back device for correct operation. |
|
7. |
Pre filter changed if necessary. |
Air inflow and pressure measurement
- In accordance with BS5726:1992 Part 3 Appendix A or by company in house codes.
Using - Airflow Developments AV2 Anemometer.
Filter and seal integrity tests
- In accordance with Appendix B of BS5726: Part 1: 1 992. Results should comply
with Section 8.5 of BS5726: Part 1: 1992. Cabinets should have each filter tested
individually.
Using - Taylor Smoke generator and ATI forward light scattering photometer
Give full test certificate. - All test equipment where necessary is always calibrated and carries a full calibration test certificate. Any of these certificates are available on special request.
